Job Summary We are seeking a skilled IT Analyst Technical Infrastructure (Cloud Security Operations Engineer )to join our India Cybersecurity Support -CAT IT Division The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore – Caterpillar PSN What you will do Monitor security posture across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) Implement and manage automation rules and workflows Investigate and remediate cloud configuration findings Manage vulnerability findings across VMs, containers, and serverless workloads Handle secret exposures and credential management issues Oversee code repository security scanning and IaC findings Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines Create and tune security policies and controls Configure ignore rules and exception handling What you will have Proficiency with AWS, Azure, and GCP security services Experience with container security and Kubernetes Knowledge of vulnerability management and patch processes Familiarity with compliance frameworks and security standards Experience with Security Graph queries Technical skills (Terraform, Python, Bash, PowerShell) Work Timings: 1:00PM to 10:00PM IST (Approx.) This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the office Preferred Attributes Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities Ability to prioritize and manage multiple security initiatives Detail-oriented with strong documentation practices. Hardware Infrastructure: Knowledge of computer architecture and systems programming; ability to design, build and integrate IT hardware into multi-platforms for the organization. Level Working Knowledge: • Assists in integrating IT hardware with the organization's existing systems. • Participates in the implementation of IT hardware within the organization. • Tracks operational problems related to IT hardware and reports them directly to the supervisor. • Assists in designing the main features of IT hardware according to business needs. • Compares IT hardware across one's own organization and its competitors. Requirements Analysis: Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project. Technical Troubleshooting: Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical issues on hardware, software, application or operation. Level Working Knowledge: • Discovers, analyzes, and resolves hardware, software or application problems. • Works with vendor-specific diagnostic guides, tools and utilities. • Handles calls related to product features, applications, and compatibility standards. • Analyzes code, logs, and current systems as part of advanced troubleshooting. • Records and reports specific technical problems, solving processes and tools that have been used. Technical Writing/Documentation: Knowledge of technical writing; ability to write technical documents such as manuals, reports, guidelines or documents on standards, processes and applications. Level Working Knowledge: • Implements technical documentation standards, guidelines and best practices. • Prepares written text and layout of materials according to required outlines and specifications. • Completes and maintains technical reference documents. • Uses the major features, functions and facilities of an automated documentation tool. • Coordinates and constantly updates system operations, installations, service manuals, and help documents.
