Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

The IT & Systems Manager will be responsible for overseeing all technology operations in the companies — from user support to vendor relationships — while developing and implementing long-term IT strategies. This position requires a strong technical foundation, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with both field and office staff.
In addition to core IT management, this role carries primary responsibility for cybersecurity, including safeguarding systems, protecting sensitive company data, and training employees in security awareness.
The successful candidate will also leverage AI tools to improve efficiency, automate reporting, enhance workflows, and support decision-making. They must have hands-on experience with multimodal AI tools (voice, image, text), connecting them across platforms using automation tools such as Zapier, and be proficient with tools such as Cursor, Lovable, or similar. Candidates should have experience building their own AI tools, managing AI agents, and using AI in their everyday workflow.
The position requires occasional travel to job sites and branch offices to set up and deploy IT systems; a valid passport is required for potential cross-border or vendor travel. Experience will be prioritized over formal education. Approximately 80% of the time will be spent in the office, with site work as needed. Work hours are flexible between 6am and 6pm with prior approval.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDAY-TO-DAY OPERATIONS

  • Provide hands-on technical support for hardware, software, mobile devices, and networks across office and field locations.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and security protocols for all company systems.
  • Oversee backups, system monitoring, and disaster recovery planning.
