The Applications Analyst will support, advise and oversee all matters relating to health informatics for applications supported within the Applications Team Portfolio. As a member of the Biomedical and System Engineering group, the Applications Analyst will have expertise with supporting, maintaining, and implementing of many hospital applications. The successful candidate will provide applications support, systems integration analysis, vendor management, and liaise with departments and vendors on new projects and rollouts

• Proven track record in supporting large-scale healthcare information systems and technology with a focus on high availability and currency of releases.
• Identify opportunities to innovate, enhance and increase the service delivery of applications.
• Provide application troubleshooting support.
• Assist in problem management activities.
• Test new systems, version upgrades, interfaces and other system modifications
• Provide technical support as an escalation point for Applications Support team during business hours.
• Participate in the patching of systems.
• Document and maintain application profiles used by Information Services
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation and to work odd or extended hours as required.
