The Role As an IT Application Specialist at Kyndryl, you’ll be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of enterprise applications – from design and development to governance and performance optimization. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure applications are secure, scalable, and aligned with business-critical requirements, while continuously improving their reliability and efficiency. Responsibilities: • Performing technical assessments and developing cloud and application management architectures and reference models • Identifying security and compliance frameworks and implementing measures to ensure data protection, privacy, and application integrity • Applying agile methodologies for both software development and the full lifecycle management of IT applications • Collaborating with Development and Infrastructure teams to manage DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, as well as ensuring the operational continuity and performance of business-critical applications • Supporting the governance, monitoring, and continuous improvement of application services, including incident resolution, change management, and performance optimization Your future at Kyndryl Every position at Kyndryl offers a way forward to grow your career, from Junior Administrator to Architect. Required Technical and Professional Expertise • 1 or more years of experience in the development, customization, and operational management of enterprise applications • The development of applications based on shell scripts and programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, C++, Python, and HTML, potentially integrated with statistical and econometric packages (e.g., Matlab, R, SAS, Stata) • The development of LAMP-based applications and the configuration of the necessary software modules • The development of applications using SparkR and PySpark • The customization and development of features for the web portal, the application scheduler, and the user management system included in the service #KYNHIRINGKIIS Being You Diversity is a whole lot more than what we look like or where we come from, it’s how we think and who we are.
