We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Architect to join our team in our office in Hamburg HafenCity!

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT infrastructure engineering, with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
• Strong understanding of network systems, data management, and security protocols.
• Certifications in Microsoft technologies (e.g., MCSE, MCSA).
• Extensive experience working within large enterprise companies and managing complex IT infrastructures.
• Sound technology knowledge and architecture experience around: Windows server, update management, software distribution | Active Directory and Entra ID | Cloud technologies especially M365, Azure, AWS | MS-SQL, Exchange
• Professional and project experience in setting up and operating client/server architectures,
• Knowledge of related technology areas such as networks, firewalls, virtualization, storage, databases, high availability and disaster recovery,
• A strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and flexibility, coupled with excellent teamwork and communication skills,
• Good communication skills in English, both written and oral. German language is a plus.

YOUR ROLE

As an IT Infrastructure Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the Microsoft technologies infrastructure that supports our organization’s strategic goals. You will play a critical role in ensuring our IT systems are reliable, scalable, and secure.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the advancement of IT infrastructure standards for Windows infrastructure services across both private and public cloud environments, collaborating closely with our global delivery units in Hamburg, Naugatuck (USA), and Hong Kong.
• Utilize your proficiency in Active Directory, Microsoft Infrastructure services and Azure to craft standardized designs that drive efficiency and scalability.
• Engage in global demand management, fostering communication with application managers, project teams, and information security to meet collective goals.
• Contribute to the evolution of our global infrastructure automation platform and oversee information management initiatives.
• Provide support to the Active Directory, O365, Exchange and Windows Operating Teams.
• Design and deploy enterprise-level hardware and software systems within the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Further development of IT infrastructure standards for the use of Windows server systems in a multi-cloud environment.
• Implementation of technical projects in the areas of Windows infrastructure (e.g. AD migrations) as well as mergers and acquisitions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in collaboration with other IT professionals.
• Close collaboration with colleagues in the Delivery Units and Cloud Transformation teams.
• Ensure compliance and security seal for provided solution designs.
• Review and completion of system documentation.
