Maintains inventory of IT assets. Initiates ordering and receiving of parts and spare equipment. Properly disposes of broken and replaced equipment. Handles shipping of equipment and parts for repair. Assists as End User Support Technician when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience
Required:
Three years on the job training in Information Systems; or
Two years of computer operations experience and A+ certification; or
One year of IS trade school training or college degree.

Responsibilities

Essential
Maintains inventory of IT equipment and parts at various locations.
Receives shipments into IT inventory system(s) and into Materials Management system(s).
Coordinates return of equipment and parts for repair.
Initiates ordering of needed equipment and parts.
Coordinates removal of broken or replaced assets with Finance.
Uses all workstation, network, phone, printer and fax standards and procedures.
Performs maintenance activities to enhance workstation, network, phone, printer, UPS, and fax hardware.
Provides assistance to confirm workstation, network, phone, printer and fax application functionality.
Ability to work non-standard and extended hours during project implementations.
Maintains inventory of software licensing.
Establishes and maintains communication with end users for hardware/software requests.
Stays abreast of newer technologies and makes recommendations.
Additional
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and services appropriate to the population served on the assigned unit or work area.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Pay Range
$23.37 -$35.05
