We are looking for an IT Asset and Compliance Analyst to play a key part of the team responsible for the management of De La Rue’s IT assets (hardware and software) throughout their lifecycle, and will help ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations whilst minimising any associated risks.
This role will be key in delivering and maintaining an enterprise IT asset management capability covering both hardware, software (license) and virtual assets and build upon identified data sources to deliver and support an enterprise level Configuration Management Database (CMDB). In addition, it will work to support in the delivering of new requirements relating to asset management and drive automation to remove manual effort.
This role will take ownership of change requests across the IT organisation and ensure adherence to the change management process, as well as reviewing any non-standard software approval reviews ensuring that new software introduced is safe and supportable.
Overseeing the purchasing activities for hardware and software across the department, the Asset and Compliance Analyst will be required to build strong working relationships with vendors in conjunction with the central procurement team.
Taking responsibility for the IT adherence to and compliance with key business audit requirements (ISO), this role will be the go between within IT and the Information Security teams escalating risks as required. It will help to ensure that audit findings and improvements are logged in relevant systems and issued to the relevant teams, tracking their progress to delivery and completion.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrable experience in IT asset management.
  • Ability to organise and plan work for yourself and in support of other teams.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Experience of working in an ITIL environment.
  • Understanding the principles of stakeholder management.
  • Ability to drive change through to completion, be creative and overcome obstacles / blockers to progress.
  • Possess an ability to work independently and set / prioritise work for others.
  • Ability to produce documentation to a high standard.
  • Experience of a wide range of IT systems and processes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance on process to IT teams.
  • Key point of expertise relating to Audit and Accreditation requirements across De La Rue IT.
  • Support and develop IT asset management capabilities across the De La Rue hardware, software and virtual estate.
  • Scheduling, running and reviewing all required data reports
  • Create and maintain all asset management systems and trackers, escalating and issues or risks
  • Review and update process and procedures to assist with continuous improvement and automation activities
  • Review and approve/escalate non-standard requests in adherence to Company policy
  • Regular liaison with the internal compliance teams to ensure the full feedback loop on all outstanding actions allocated to the IT department
  • Management of external 3rd party vendors and providers and liaison with procurement for any new suppliers
  • Tracking progress and delivery activity against all audit requirements for the IT department
  • Responsibility for coordination of all change management requests in line with process
