Job Description Key Responsibilities: Provide first-level technical support to users for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and peripheral devices. Assist with user account creation, access management, and password resets. Support the setup and maintenance of email accounts, shared mailboxes, and system permissions. Perform regular system updates, antivirus checks, and data backups. Log, track, and resolve IT service requests through the helpdesk system. Troubleshoot network connectivity problems and escalate complex issues to higher-level IT staff. Assist with the installation and maintenance of POS, Opera, and other business applications. Maintain inventory records for IT equipment and ensure proper documentation. Provide on-site support for meetings, events, and system rollouts when required. Ensure adherence to IT policies, data security standards, and company protocols. Coordinate with vendors or external support teams when needed. Qualifications Qualifications and Skills: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role. Good knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and common business applications. Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, Wi-Fi). Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure. Willingness to work flexible hours or weekends if required. Experience in hospitality systems such as Opera PMS, Simphony POS, or similar platforms. IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified, CCNA, etc.) are an added advantage.
