Hiring Unit:
Computational and Data System Initiative (Tim Elrick)
Position Summary:
- Provides students with basic technical support during the ateliers
- Assesses more complex tasks and delegates them to appropriate CDSI resources
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities
To be eligible for this job, you must:
- Have access to a computer with webcam and microphone
- Have strong knowledge of one or multiple programming software: Python, R, Matlab, Stata, SPSS
- Have strong written and oral communication skills
- Be willing to keep up with the recent developments in the respective programming software.
- Good command of computer operating systems (Linux, Mac, Windows) is an asset.
- Have organization and time management skills
- Proofreading skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to support multiple persons
Experience and education:
- High School Diploma with one year of relevant experience in the field of work
- Graduate Student registered in a McGill program is preferred.
