MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as graphic design, interaction design, or human-computer interaction from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Five (5) years of experience as a UI/UX designer or in a related role. Experience using design tools like Adobe XD, Figma, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Sketch, etc.
** For education obtained outside of the U.S., you will be required to provide proof of the equivalent American education as determined by a foreign credential evaluation service. DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Successful track record in user research, testing, prototyping and wireframing, user flow and interaction design. Excellent time management, communication and collaboration skills.
  • Critical thinker, with ability to adapt in our Agile environment.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS365 (Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel, etc.) and Adobe applications. Knowledge of WCAG accessibility guidelines and implementation in design.
  • Master’s Degree in UI/UX Design or similar field.
  • Seven years proven experience as a UI/UX designer or in a similar role.
  • Expansive design portfolio.
  • Successful track record in information architecture, creating sensible content structure in complex environments. Familiarity with website development languages such as JavaScript, XML, CSS, C, C++, and HTML.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) environment. Design experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and other integrative applications.
Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in UX/UI design, a passion for user-centered design, and a proven track record of delivering exceptional digital experiences. Act as a champion for user-centered design principles and advocate for the importance of UX/UI in achieving success.

In this role, duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Leading UX/UI design efforts to ensure high-quality and innovative design solutions are delivered within budget and on time.
  • Developing and implementing design strategies that align with the Agency’s overall goals and objectives.
  • Actively collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into user-centered design solutions.
  • Conducting user research and usability testing to gather insights and feedback for continuous improvement of our digital presence.
  • Creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows.
  • Ensuring all designs are user-friendly, visually appealing, and consistent with the Agency’s brand and design guidelines.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation within the team.
  • Mentoring and developing team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow.
  • Overseeing the design process from conception to launch, ensuring all deliverables meet quality and accessibility standards.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on designs based on user and business needs. Managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines.
  • Communicating design decisions and rationale to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Proactively identify and address any design or process issues to improve efficiency and productivity.
