Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Stafforce is recruiting an IT Assistant for a leading oil and gas company. This is a great opportunity for a highly organised and detail oriented individual to support IT operations in a non technical capacity. The role focuses on IT project coordination, business processes, governance adoption, and policy management within a large corporate environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist IT management with documentation, process organisation, and administrative tasks
  • Coordinate IT projects, ensuring compliance with policies and governance frameworks
  • Maintain IT department records, schedules, and reports
  • Act as a liaison between IT and other departments, translating technical requirements into clear communication for non-technical staff
  • Support IT strategy development and business process implementation
  • Manage and maintain SharePoint project sites, Microsoft Teams, and other IT systems
