Description:

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT, AV, and Security Project Coordinator to join our team. This position will provide support in managing IT, audiovisual, and security projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required specifications. The Project Coordinator will work closely with senior project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to coordinate project activities and deliverables.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Some experience in project management, IT, AV systems, or security (internships or entry-level roles are acceptable).
  • Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure, AV equipment, and security systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Trello, Asana).
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the project management field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certification in Project Management (e.g., PPM, PMI, or similar).
  • Experience with AV system installations or security systems management.
  • Familiarity with IT network infrastructure and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination & Support: Assist in planning, executing, and closing various IT, AV, and security projects.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including timelines, meeting notes, and project deliverables.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements and expectations are met.
  • Risk Management: Help identify potential risks and assist with the development of mitigation strategies.
  • Scheduling: Help schedule meetings, resources, and tasks for the project team to ensure the smooth progress of projects.
  • Budget Monitoring: Assist in tracking project budgets and costs, ensuring projects stay within financial constraints.
  • Quality Control: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client specifications.
  • Technical Support: Provide basic technical assistance as needed during project implementation and post-deployment.
  • Reporting: Prepare and update project status reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Vendor Coordination: Assist in managing relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of equipment and services.
  • On-Site Support: Provide support during on-site project execution and installation, ensuring smooth operations.
