The Entry-Level IT Helpdesk and AV Support Technician will be responsible for providing (OneSite 5 Days A Week) front-line support to employees across the organization located in our Fort Lauderdale office. This includes assisting users with technical issues, configuring hardware/software, and supporting internal AV systems used in meetings, presentations, and events. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, technically proficient, and eager to grow within the IT field. Helpdesk Support Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or ticketing system. Act as the liaison between on-site operations and the remote IT support team. Provide timely support updates and clear communication with end users. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on Windows and Mac OS platforms. Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access via Active Directory, Office 365, and other internal tools. Document support issues, resolutions, and processes in the IT knowledge base. Audio-Visual (AV) Support Set up, test, and operate AV equipment for meetings, video conferences, webinars, and company events. Maintain AV infrastructure in meeting rooms including projectors, displays, video conferencing units, and audio systems. Provide live support during meetings and events to resolve issues promptly. Work with third-party vendors or platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams, WebEx) to ensure system compatibility and reliability. This roll may require work outside of normal business hours. Occasional travel required. Essential Skills & Experience Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Windows 10/11, and common enterprise tools. Knowledge of Mac OS is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Effective time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
