Job Description:
AXA Partners is seeking a skilled IT Business Analyst to join our dynamic UK&I IT team. This pivotal role offers an opportunity to help shape digital solutions that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency across our Redhill and Athlone sites.

TECHNICAL/ FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Thorough knowledge of development lifecycles and strong experience of initial stages of lifecycles (e.g. concept scopes and high-level requirements)
  • Familiar with visual models that support analysis, such as workflow diagrams or wireframe prototypes, strong facilitation, communication, listening, coaching and presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of and capability to analyse business needs and produce accurate documentation

EDUCATION, PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Previous IT experience and previous relevant business analysis experience supported by IT related qualification
  • Experience working in a similar global IT environment
  • Capacity to adapt quickly to changes and learn in all circumstances
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with others and leverage their skills
    As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.

As an IT Business Analyst, you will support the team in analyzing business needs and helping shape digital solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements, assist in process improvements, and contribute to the delivery of innovative applications. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Conduct comprehensive options analysis, assess feasibility, and evaluate operational impact to support strategic decision-making
  • Help ensure solutions align with business requirements, user needs, and regulatory standards such as GDPR and PCI
  • Lead and model key elements of the business, translating complex needs into clear technical requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve business performance, designing and prioritizing changes to enhance operations and services
  • Support the implementation of business improvements, providing guidance throughout project lifecycles
  • Analyze and validate requirements through workshops, interviews, and documentation, challenging assumptions to ensure clarity and completeness
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, communicating effectively to clarify needs, expectations, and project impacts
  • Support agile ways of working, using tools like Azure Boards to track progress and measure outcomes
  • Contribute to business case development, quantifying potential benefits and operational impacts
  • Ensure alignment of system and process changes with regulatory and organizational standards
  • Review and sign off project strategies, plans, and results to ensure delivery meets business objectives and customer satisfaction.
