The Group Digital Capabilities (GDC) Division ensures Euroclear’s competitiveness by delivering reliable and sustainable IT solutions for the financial markets.  Evolving technologies such as Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) could be a game changer for the financial industry, especially in the space where Euroclear as a Financial Market Infrastructure (FMI) operates.  Euroclear seeks to seize opportunities created by these modern technologies and strategic trends to develop products, services and capabilities addressing market inefficiencies and strengthen Euroclear’s unique position as a neutral FMI. The Innovation tribe within IT is the delivery arm of this game changing digital capabilities, across business lines and entities. To support its growth and ambitions, we are reinforcing the delivery squad for the Digital Financial Market Infrastructure (D-FMI), a DLT based market infrastructure. Summary As a Business Analyst (BA), you will play a crucial role to act as a glue between business needs and IT solutions, ensuring the successful implementation of innovative digital securities issuance processes and other key market initiatives as well as supporting PoC/PoV activities. Key Responsibilities * Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the key interface between business stakeholders, the Product Owner (PO) and IT team. Understand the business drivers and needs, mainly through interviews. Master demonstration of the solution to be able to assist business teams on client meetings. * Requirements Analysis: Lead the analysis of business requirements, both functional and non-functional, and translate them into structured documentation within TFS. Organise pre-refinements with other Solution architect, BA and PO, and then lead the refinements with the scrum team. Clarify Product Backlog Items (PBIs) until ready, review test cases and test execution. Be the guardian of the project business scope. * Documentation: Prepare detailed business requirements and validate functional designs derived from your analysis. Update the Business Reference Guide (BRG) and the User Guides. * Product Backlog Management: Assist the Product Owner in writing and prioritizing PBIs and ensure they are ready for development. Qualifications * Proven experience in business analysis in the financial services sector. * Understanding of Euroclear’s software development lifecycle (SDLC) is a plus * Strong understanding of Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT). Understanding of R3’s Corda, DAH’s Canton, Hyperledger Besu, Ethereum is a plus. * Understanding the bond primary issuance process and the role of a central securities depositary (CSD). * Agile scrum expertise * Knowledge of UML is a plus * Experience in testing case writing and execution (understanding of Gherkin is a plus) * Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills. * Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. * Excellent documentation skills * Strong priority and time management skills * Fluent in English Why join us Embark on your new adventure at Euroclear, and work at the heart of the global capital markets.
