PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provide process, design and analysis support for developing solutions for interfacing business applications. Drive requirements elicitation process for work efforts of all size and complexity. Work in a direct or indirect leadership capacity to influence collaboration, communication and outcomes of various. Provide project and portfolio management for smaller projects and business enhancements. Serve as a key liaison between line of business (LOB) and the Technology Delivery teams. May oversee the work, train, and coach other Business Analyst and/or contractors.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor degree or ten years of information technology experience with significant experience in software development
  2. Eight years of experience as a business analyst or related role/experience, with experience in one or more of the following areas: Project Management, Business Process Management, Relationship Management, Business Operations, Quality Management
  3. Ability to work independently and autonomously, as needed to drive desired outcomes
  4. Experience with traditional Waterfall SDLC and/or Agile/Lean methodologies
  5. Extensive experience planning, facilitating, eliciting, documenting and managing business, functional and technical requirements
  6. Ability to interact with management, business staff, and Technology professionals in order to gather, compile and exchange information on work requests/project requirements
  7. Strong meeting facilitation, presentation, verbal and written skills and ability to resolve conflicts
  8. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, activities and tasks under time constraints
  9. Ability to effectively interface with staff at all levels
  10. Exceptional communication, teamwork and influencing skills that foster a collaborative and continuous-improvement environment
  11. Excellent facilitation and organizational skills
  12. Strong critical and analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  13. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
  14. Understand core systems, applications and technical platforms.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. An understanding of current trends in technology
  2. Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical data
  3. Ability to lead business process modeling sessions
  4. Project Management Institute (PMI) or International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) certification or Lean Six Sigma experience/certification
  5. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Visio
Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with peer groups in Technology and LOBs to identify, document and communicate business needs and provide technology solutions.
2. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with business process owners and other stakeholders to develop acceptance criteria and a plan to facilitate user acceptance testing of a solution that meets the business requirements. 3. Establish project and work requests requirements using document, business process and workflow analysis.
4. Ensure all stakeholders are involved in requirements gathering activities to facilitate requirements elicitation sessions and walkthroughs with business, Technology and other resources to plan, elicit, capture, analyze and validate business, functional and technical requirements.
5. Perform current state analysis of existing business systems, applications and functions.
6. Prepare user interface diagrams, business process and workflow diagrams in support of small work requests (enhancements) or large scale initiatives.
7. Understand the long-term business objectives and suggest strategies to meet those objectives and introduce technical innovations, as needed.
8. Assist/coordinate pre-planning activities (e.g. business case, project estimate, project risk assessment, stakeholder analysis, draft charter).
9. Improve and optimize service delivery utilizing structured problem solving methodology.
10. Attend business unit management meetings, as needed and facilitate routine meetings with business stakeholders to provide updates on in-flight initiatives.
11. Become deeply immersed and knowledgeable about core business functions, processes and workflows associated with assigned business areas and projects.
12. Serves as Subject-matter expert (SME) who can easily analyze the business applications and technologies.
13. Ensure strict adherence to all Technology and Truist policies and standards (e.g. Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Change Management).
