ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for an IT Business Analyst to join our growing team! As a business analyst, you play a vital role of translator and facilitator between Business, IT and Quality Assurance. You will be part of a small squad with the sole purpose of creating and enhancing the functionalities of our in-house policy system to the point where that product is the best product, not just in the insurance field, but the best product out there, period.

WHAT YOU’LL DO HERE:

• Lead / prepare / participate in business requirements workshops to specify IT solutions.
• Collaborate with BA-B (business analyst-business side) and solution architect to specify IT solution design.
• Perform impact analysis and identify the dependencies of the changes.
• Collaborate with other teams and specialists during impact analysis and issue investigations.
• Provide the information about existing business rules and system constraints from requirements management system.
• Analize the business requirements and translate them into functional requirements for development team.
• Collaborate with BA-B to document User Stories effectively so they can be clearly understood by Front End, Back End developers and Quality Assurance.
• Ensure the completeness of the details and right size of the User Stories.
• Support the development of solutions.
• Monitor the progress and velocity of the IT solution development.
• Support test Quality Assurance activities and User Acceptance Tests.
• Build a solid, reusable and thorough system documentation to be used by any stakeholders.
• Support Product Owner and development team in the defect investigation.
• Support Product Owners in handling their backlogs and prioritize work to be done.
• Identify and convey the impacts on Business processes to support change management in Business units via train the trainer documents and procedures.
• Participate in implementation and maintenance of the best practices and innovations.
