The Position

As an IT Business Analyst Intern, you will contribute to a variety of projects and initiatives within Roche Digital Technology (RDT), the global IT group within Roche that enables business strategy and implementation across all our major business divisions: Pharmaceuticals, Diagnostics, and Research & Development. You will be partnered with Senior Business Analysts, Technical Consultants, and User Experience (UX) experts executing on IT projects throughout the entire digital Product Life Cycle. You will also work closely with IT Product Managers, IT Development Teams, and Business Stakeholders to create and enhance IT solutions that add value to the organization. Understand and align internal and external customer expectations, and communicate with the project team and stakeholders to gain their support.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to elicit requirements for new applications or modifications to existing platforms.
  • Partner with extended Product teams to examine, test, and review enhancements, creating supporting documentation like test scripts, process flow diagrams, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT), user training on new technology solutions, and conduct usability analysis to identify system enhancements, design improvements, and new features.
  • Assist in evaluating new technology solutions, create and maintain training and system documentation, and participate in various IT, corporate, and CSR activities.
  • Support Business stakeholder in assessing new use cases and prioritize within a portfolio process
  • Make sure all use cases follow similar assessment by working closely with stakeholders to gather required data for comparison
  • Support business in detailing user requirements and transform them into IT requirements - especially for Data Insight use cases

In addition, you will also have the opportunity to build a network with members and teams across Roche to understand the workings of the global organization as a whole, through various events and networking programs.
