As an IT Business Analyst placed within the Logistics & Export IT team you will be supporting the Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) system, other export compliance applications, and larger Finance/Warehouse Management System Projects. The incumbent will work with business unit IT analysts and end users across PPG’s global businesses to resolve application issues, provide guidance on business requirements, build functional designs, deliver projects, and support implemented functionality.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• 3-5 years of Supply Chain experience in warehouse management, logistics, procurement, or industrial engineering positions.
• 1+ years of IT experience including ERP/TMS support, Middleware support, EDI support, B2B integrations, or SQL development.
• Ability to successfully participate in or potentially lead international teams.
• Fluency in English and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred

• 1+ years’ experience in logistics, distribution, or freight planning.
• Functional or technical experience with Oracle Transportation Management or SAP Transportation Management.

• Provide support to a specific business or function ranging from production issues logged by users to strategic enhancement projects handed down from executive leadership.
• Member of the Oracle Center of Excellence team that interacts with the business units, shared global business services, external contractors, and external vendors.
• Participate in the definition, testing, training, implementation, and support of business solutions.
• Work closely with Business Analysts from the Core Systems (Oracle R12 / SAP / EDI ) as well as Middleware, security, and network infrastructure teams.
• Identify customer requirements, develop test schedules, review testing plans, and detail the development and results of these plans.
• Serve as a business intelligence consultant using PowerBi and Oracle SQL technologies.
• Understand business needs and propose / build innovative solutions.
