PROJECT DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an IT Business Analyst for our client - one of the world’s largest natural resource companies. You will be a part of a cross-functional team responsible for maintaining and modernization of the existing trading platform. It is a long-term project that will require close collaboration with business and IT stakeholders and the implementation of new features.

SKILLS

Must have
Education on degree level (or equivalent) with at least 5 years of working experience in a similar trading or financial environment
Good knowledge of Business analysis methodologies (certification is a bonus, e.g. IIBA)
Excellent language skills
a high English standard is a must
Strong interpersonal skills in order to communicate and negotiate with all levels of the business and IT
Delivery and customer-focused: efficiently delivering quality, hitting tight deadlines while remaining within the system and data architecture principles
Open and transparent communicator; able to report bad news to
Self-driven and proud to take ownership
Nice to have
German is a strong advantage

Analysis, planning and support of implementations for our main Metals and Minerals trading system
Closely working with traders, asset, and traffic managers to understand change requirements
Regular communication on existing and future requirements to relevant stakeholders
Further improvement and maintenance of product documentation for support staff and end users
Collaborating with Project Managers, 2nd, and 3rd level support as well as development
Applying our change management process, involving testing in UAT and pre-production environments
