Summary
We are currently seeking an IT Business Analyst to join Bethany’s Information Technology team. Reporting to the Manager, Infrastructure and Technology, you will support both new and existing software applications at Bethany. During the first 16 months, a significant portion of your role will involve being one of the key technical leads in Bethany’s migration from Unit4 ERP to Workday. Additionally, you will collaborate with business and healthcare resources on initiatives to introduce new business processes and software into the organization.

EDUCATION

  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Related IT certifications (or working towards) are considered an asset.

EXPERIENCE

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience providing business analyst and technical support for ERP systems.
  • Experience with implementing and supporting enterprise Finance, Logistics, HR/Payroll, and Operations applications.
  • Ability to effectively partner with business and clinical resources at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with the administration of Microsoft SQL databases.
  • Experience with Microsoft T-SQL in writing complex stored procedures, building views, and queries to retrieve and update data.
  • Relevant experience in troubleshooting and testing integrations between systems.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a key technical lead during the first 16 months on the Workday Implementation project.
  • Act as a data conversion specialist, leading the extraction, cleansing, conversion, and validation of Finance and HCM data from Unit4 ERP to Workday, incorporating requirements from other Business Analysts and Functional SMEs.
  • Act as the internal integration lead, working with consulting resources to develop, test, and deploy integrations between Workday and other Bethany systems.
  • Utilize your expertise in T-SQL to query and update sets of data conversion files.
  • Identify data readiness issues and challenges, providing recommendations for remediation.
  • Support data conversion processes to meet project timelines and key dates, including cutovers.
  • Participate in the planning, design, development, configuration, integration, service introduction, and enhancement of both existing and new business and clinical applications.
  • Gather functional and technical requirements through interviews, site visits, research and analysis.
  • Develop and document business cases and plans, including business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate, execute, and support application and integration testing, such as creating test cases and scripts.
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.
  • Perform day-to-day troubleshooting and support of current systems in collaboration with vendor application support teams.
