JOB OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our IT team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business requirements and IT solutions, working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, analyze processes, and ensure the successful implementation of technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business processes, technical systems, and project management practices, enabling them to drive efficiencies and improve operational performance.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within an IT environment.
• Strong understanding of IT systems, software development life cycle (SDLC), and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Proficiency in requirements gathering, process modeling, and data analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with project management tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Trello, MS Project).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
• Experience with system documentation, including user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA).
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall project management frameworks.
• Experience with data analytics tools or business intelligence (BI) platforms.
• Familiarity with ERP or CRM systems.

• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements for IT solutions and projects.
• Business Process Analysis: Analyze existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and provide recommendations for improvements through automation or system enhancements.
• Solution Design & Documentation: Work with IT teams to design, specify, and document solutions that meet business needs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and third-party vendors to ensure clear communication and successful project delivery.
• Data Analysis: Conduct data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvements or system enhancements.
• System Testing & Quality Assurance: Support the testing phase by developing test cases, ensuring the solution meets requirements, and managing defect tracking.
• Project Support: Assist in managing project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Reporting & Documentation: Create detailed reports, dashboards, and documentation on project progress, system performance, and business outcomes.
• Training & Support: Develop user guides, training materials, and provide training sessions to end-users when new systems or processes are implemented.
