Description
The IT Business Operations Finance Analyst will partner with the IT Business Operations Lead and in collaboration with our IS IT colleagues to organize, support, & monitor financial operations and performance of the Industrial System IT Team. Financial Planning & Governance Support the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for IS IT business activities. Assist IS IT leadership to ensure we are monitoring the big picture of activities and deliverables with the team focused on the right activities at the right time. Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes for assigned IT areas, providing financial direction and conducting formal presentations as required. Engage with IS IT leaders and the business office to assist with improving financial governance, compliance, and cost management & optimization practices. Assist IS IT team members in monitoring key financial performance indicators (KPIs) and budget adherence, providing insights to ensure IT financial targets are achieved by year-end. Monitor and support financial objectives, milestone targets, and KPIs, engaging team members when financial issues or blockers arise. Partner with IT leadership to develop multi-year financial plans aligned with business strategy Support, monitor and drive financial governance processes for the IS IT Strategy & Integration departmental budget. Support development and analysis of monthly financial updates, performance metrics, and reports (e.g., budget vs. actuals, variance analysis) for executive review and providing actionable insights to leadership. Prepare financial presentations and executive updates on operational performance, organizational accomplishments against financial objectives, strategy, and roadmap. Support development and maintenance of dashboards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) focused on operational efficiency, service delivery performance, utilization, ROI, and cost metrics for IT operations. Participate in the financial planning and preparation for quarterly leadership offsites, providing relevant financial data and insights. Develop, publish, and distribute financial communications to improve knowledge sharing and awareness across the enterprise regarding IS IT financial strategies, budget status, and key financial accomplishments. Support and drive the development of AI models to improve financial processes, management efficiency and surface actionable insights to the organization Established and active employee resource groups Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. Strong knowledge and experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management, preferably within a technology or large corporate environment. Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with financial systems (e.g., Nicus) and business intelligence tools is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for executive leadership. Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented mindset. Inclusive style with the ability to collaborate and build meaningful relationships at all levels and functions of the organization. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences. Proven ability to support an IT leadership team in daily financial operations and assist in achieving organizational financial objectives.
