Job Description At Viva Energy Australia, we’re transforming how Technology & Digital delivers value to the business. We’re looking for a Technology & Digital Business Operations Lead to play a critical role in enabling the successful execution of our strategy through strong governance, insights, and leadership support. As the T&D Business Operations Lead, you will drive disciplined planning, executive-level reporting, workforce insights, and risk visibility across our Technology & Digital portfolio. This is a high-impact role where you’ll work closely with senior leaders, bringing clarity to complex portfolios and ensuring our initiatives are aligned, visible, and set up for success. Responsibilities & Requirements Leadership & Influence Ability to work confidently with senior leaders and leadership teams. Influences through insight, preparation and quality outputs rather than authority. Technical & Tooling Proficiency Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint capability, including executive storytelling, synthesis and visual clarity. Strong written communication and briefing skills. Working knowledge of planning and reporting tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Excel, Power BI or equivalents). Strategic & Commercial Acumen Ability to understand strategic priorities and translate them into operational insights. Awareness of financial, workforce and capacity drivers impacting delivery decisions. Personal Attributes Highly organised, detail‑oriented and dependable. Calm under pressure with strong follow‑through. Pragmatic, outcome‑focused and discreet. Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Commerce, Management, Economics, Strategy, or a related discipline. 5–8 years’ experience in business operations, planning, PMO, reporting or similar roles. Demonstrated experience producing high‑quality executive‑level reporting. Experience supporting senior leaders in complex, multi‑disciplinary environments.
