The Role: IT Business Support Intern - Gathering and analysing business requirements for problems in the front office (e.g. sales and service) and back office (e.g. development, supply chain, internal IT). - Create tool mock-ups (in collaboration with interns from outside Japan) - Assist in running improvement groups - Provide support to overseas teams in the development and operation of business applications - Interest in supporting business operations with IT - The ability to understand the needs of others in Japanese, to visualise and explain them in presentations - A strong emphasis on team communication and teamwork - Basic knowledge of programming and SQL - Basic knowledge of IT and web technologies - A positive attitude to learning the knowledge and skills required for the job - An attitude that is not afraid to communicate in English - Skills to gather information and deliver results across departments
