POSITION SUMMARY:
Work involves acting as a liaison between the business/end users and IT systems development teams for business needs requiring IT based solutions including: Identifying and analyzing business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives.
Making recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.
Researching business requirements and documenting the relationships between the components of the application system (i.e., end users, business processes, data, applications, and devices). Translating business requirements into application requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma/ GED or completion of a technical school program in information technology or a relevant field.
Experience: Understanding of Corrections Business Processes
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to work well as part of a team.
Demonstrate the ability to document support activities, solutions, and procedures.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to understand technical concepts
Familiarity with planning tools such as Azure Dev Ops

Document problems and needs in Azure Dev Ops or similar tools.
Work with IT staff to convert business problems and needs into application requirements.
Work with IT staff to test agreed upon solution.
Work with trainers or business staff on explaining how the solution should be used.
