THE OPPORTUNITY

Mineral Resources is currently seeking multiple Communications Technicians to join our IT Infrastructure team to provide support and configuration for critical systems across the Lithium Operations.
The Communications Technicians will play an integral role managing systems such as GPS guidance, fleet management, in-vehicle monitoring and collision avoidance to ensure optimal performance and reliability. They will contribute collaboratively with both supervisors and vendors to innovate solutions and resolve complex communications issues.
These position reports directly to our Superintendent IT Infrastructure and and offers a regular 8/6 roster, supporting both lithium site operations at Wodgina and Mt Marion.

Key Responsibilities may include:

  • Install and configure various site-based technology systems including GPS guidance (HPGPS), fleet management (FMS), in vehicle monitoring (IVMS), collision avoidance (CAS), autonomy, payload management systems
  • Read schematics, assembly drawings, data sheets and work instructions to perform product assembly and testing.
  • Assist in machine fault finding and failure analysis, troubleshooting, rework/repair of non-conforming manufactured product to

determine root cause.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing innovative solutions.
  • Deliver solution enhancements whilst resolving complex communication problems.
  • Ensure maintenance and installation tasks comply to standards
