JOB SUMMARY:

We are a rapidly growing tech company looking for experienced technical professionals for on call and project-based work, in and around San Francisco. We are hiring seasoned professionals looking for supplemental income, offering eventual W2 opportunities for those who demonstrate reliability and interest in more commitment.
As for the job, we don’t have offices, you set your schedules. 1099 work at the core, you would carve out your role and we would fill your schedule with jobs/projects. No guarantees for work, but there is always something to work on if you have initiative. We offer internal projects often for lower rates ($40/hr), in addition to the client work paid at the rates posted.
As you get more involved with our organization, there is immense potential to get more work, build out new services, manage teams, and build our business for potential equity/profit sharing arrangements. Our business model is already widely successful, and we are poised to make a huge impact in the Bay Area. Come along for the ride!
NOTE: You must be within 30-45 minutes drive from San Francisco to apply to this job, all other candidates will be rejected. Additionally, preference will be given to those currently employed and looking for part-time work in addition to their regular job.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or with a team of 3-5 people under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to self-manage complex projects involving multiple vendors, customers, timelines. Setting budgetary goals for work and executing on target.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines, working with demanding clients who expect excellence.
  • Incredibly strong computer/consulting skills including but not limited to Desktop (PC/Mac) support, Domain/Web/Cloud, Email/DNS Support, Hardware Diagnostics, Network Support, A/V Systems, Security Systems, Smart Home, IT Sales, Compliance/HIPAA/SOC, and more.
  • Strong verbal communication skills (written & spoken).
  • Ability to learn new software quickly & retain information learned through training sessions or other sources.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends/holidays as needed.
  • IT/Network Industry Certifications
  • 10+ years of direct hands-on experience in the field for network technician work
    Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temp-to-hire
    Pay: $65.00 - $80.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 2 – 20 per week
