Key Responsibilities
· Oversee and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including networks, hardware, and software.
· Provide technical support and troubleshooting for staff across various departments.
· Ensure proper software functionality at workstations.
· Keep IT systems updated and running efficiently.
· Collaborate with external IT vendors for complex issues and system upgrades.
· Manage user accounts, permissions, and system configurations.
· Monitor and enforce IT security policies and procedures.
· Conduct regular security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulations.
· Implement best practices for data protection and user privacy.
· Track and manage the office IT assets
· Order and configure new equipment as necessary.
· Ensure timely repair or replacement of broken equipment.
· Oversee software licenses and ensure compliance with company policies.
· Maintain an inventory of software licenses and track renewal dates.
· Assist in planning and executing IT-related projects and upgrades.
· Create and update documentation for troubleshooting and procedures.
· Collaborate with other departments to address their IT needs.
· Liaise with external IT providers as needed.
· Report on IT support activities and suggest improvements to management.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
· Proven experience in IT support, coordination, or administration.
· Strong knowledge of network and system administration (LAN/WAN, routers, firewalls).
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to assist non-technical staff.
· Capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· Experience in the lighting or related industry is a plus.
· Familiarity with lighting design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Dialux) would be an advantage
· IT support certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are preferred.
