OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Coordinator to join our dynamic team. REQUIREMENTS

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT coordination or a similar role.
  • Key qualifications include an understanding of IT systems, networking, and security, as well as experience with project management and IT infrastructure planning.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • The role demands strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, and strong organizational and time management skills.
    An effective IT Coordinator combines strong technical knowledge with critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail. Responsibilities
  • IT Infrastructure: Oversee the organization’s hardware, software, and network systems, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning optimally. This includes monitoring system performance, troubleshooting errors, and optimizing workflows.
  • Supporting End-Users: Provide technical support to employees, resolving issues and providing guidance on IT policies and procedures.
  • Coordinating IT Projects: Collaborate with project teams to plan, execute, and monitor IT projects, managing timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Maintaining IT Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensuring Security and Compliance: Work closely with our outsourced IT Managed Services vendor to ensure security and compliance are implemented, supported and monitored per contract terms.
  • Managing Vendors: Collaborate with external vendors to procure IT equipment and services, negotiating contracts and managing relationships.
  • Training Employees: Conduct training sessions to enhance employee technical skills and familiarize them with new technologies.
  • Bistrack (Sales and Inventory management software) Expert: Learn all functions and processes associated with the software. Assist in updating SOP manuals as they pertain to the software. Operate as a help desk to employees with questions pertaining to the software.
  • Assisting with Budgeting: Assist in preparing and managing the IT budget, forecasting costs, tracking expenditures, and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
