IT Coordinator
An IT Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day support of IT systems for business systems, office systems, computer networks, and telephony systems throughout the hotel.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

We are seeking a motivated and technically-minded individual to join our team as an Entry-Level IT Coordinator. In this role, you will support the IT Department in ensuring the quality and delivery of IT systems for both the hotel and its guests. Your contributions will help maintain smooth operations, delivered on time, within budget, and in line with IT standards. This role is ideal for someone with a good understanding of IT systems and infrastructure, looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. This is a part time role with up to 25 hrs weekly spread across 4-5 days.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist team members with day-to-day IT-related issues
  • Provide basic IT support across hardware and software systems
  • Perform regular user access audits to ensure system security and compliance
  • Record all issues that arise and escalate to the Manager when further attention is required
  • Recommend system improvements to the Manager based on observed needs and feedback
  • Communicate with hotel team members to respond to any guest-related IT requirements
  • Assist with computer reimaging, hardware setup, and peripheral connections
  • Support and troubleshoot local server environments and cloud-based systems

IT Coordinators serving Hilton brands are always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

  • General understanding of how IT systems function, including server-to-application connectivity and cloud infrastructure
  • Familiarity with Microsoft technologies (Windows OS, Office 365, etc.)
  • Exposure to hotel industry systems such as Fidelio and Micros is a plus, but not required
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilitie
