What We’re Looking For: Walstrom Marine is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Coordinator to oversee and support our company’s technology infrastructure across multiple locations. This is a full-time, year-round position that can be based out of our Harbor Springs or Traverse City locations. The IT Coordinator will play a key role in supporting end-users, maintaining system security and performance, and supporting the IT department.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in IT support or system/network administration.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 administration and Windows environments.
  • Familiarity with Unifi hardware and IDS (or other dealership management software) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and travel between company locations as needed.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and administer Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and user licensing.
  • Provide first-line support for Microsoft 365-related issues such as Outlook configuration, OneDrive syncing, Teams access, and permission troubleshooting.
  • Administer our dealership management software (IDS) and support related system processes.
  • Install, configure, and maintain company hardware and software including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to Windows OS, Office apps, printing, email, and network connectivity.
  • Support and configure network infrastructure including routing, switching, and VLAN segmentation across company locations.
  • Maintain and support Unifi network infrastructure, including access points, switches, and controller configuration.
  • Monitor network performance and assist in troubleshooting Wi-Fi and connectivity issues across locations.
  • Maintain IT inventory and recommend lifecycle upgrades and replacements.
  • Provide training and support for hardware, software, and IT policy adherence, including onboarding new employees.
  • Administer Active Directory accounts and group policies.
  • Track and manage support tickets through the IT helpdesk system.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and security best practices, including SSL certificate monitoring.
  • Travel to company locations as required to provide on-site IT support.

You have experience managing Microsoft 365 and network infrastructure, and you’re comfortable with both hands-on troubleshooting and long-term IT planning.
