We are seeking an experienced IT Administrator to manage and support our local IT environment while ensuring alignment with global ICT standards. About the Role Reporting locally and working closely with TAKRAF’s global ICT team in Leipzig, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, support, and improvement of TAKRAF Australia’s IT environment. Your focus will be on maintaining system stability, supporting users, managing infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with global ICT standards. Key Responsibilities Administer and manage the IT environment for TAKRAF Australia Ensure compliance with TAKRAF global ICT standards and Standard Operating Environment (SOE) Provide timely IT support to all users to minimise downtime Set up, configure, and upgrade IT equipment in line with ICT policies Monitor network performance and proactively identify potential issues Support a mixed IT environment across servers, networks, and end-user devices Work collaboratively with global ICT teams to implement updates and improvements Identify risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement and report accordingly Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, you will have experience managing and supporting a mixed IT environment, including: Technical Skills Microsoft Windows Server environment (including Exchange Server) Office 365 / Office 2016 Microsoft SCCM Microsoft SQL Server Windows desktop and remote support IP Networking (Cisco, HP, Checkpoint) IP Telephony Linux-based systems Network monitoring tools Professional Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability A proactive and solutions-focused mindset Ability to work independently and as part of a global team Experience in risk identification, assessment, and reporting Why Join TAKRAF?
