Position Summary The IT Coordinator serves as the on-site point of contact for all technology-related needs, providing direct support to employees while partnering with the HR/Operations department on HR-related tech needs. This role also acts as the liaison between internal staff and the company’s third-party IT support provider. The ideal candidate brings a customer service mentality and strong problem-solving abilities to every interaction, ensuring employees feel supported and issues are resolved efficiently. Key Responsibilities Employee IT Support Serve as the primary point of contact for employees experiencing technical issues Triage and log technical issues, escalating to the third-party IT company as needed and following up to ensure timely resolution Provide first-line, in-office troubleshooting for hardware, software, and connectivity issues Approach every request with patience, empathy, and a solutions-oriented attitude, keeping employees informed throughout the resolution process HR/Operations Tech Partnership Coordinate technology setup for new hires (laptops, accounts, logins, software access) in partnership with HR/Operations Assist with offboarding tasks, including equipment retrieval and account deactivation Support HR/Operations with tech-related issues for systems such as HRIS, payroll platforms, and other employee-facing tools Work closely with HR/Operations to align on processes, timelines, and priorities for tech-related employee lifecycle needs IT Vendor Liaison Act as the go-between for employees and the third-party IT company, ensuring issues are communicated clearly and resolved promptly Coordinate equipment orders, repairs, and replacements with the IT vendor Asset Management Manage the company cell phone plan, including new lines, upgrades, billing review, and troubleshooting Maintain accurate inventory of IT equipment (laptops, monitors, phones, accessories), including check-in/check-out logs Office Technology Support Support office technology needs (conference room AV, printers, network connectivity) Assist with documentation of IT procedures and onboarding/offboarding checklists Qualifications 2-3+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or office operations role Strong customer service mentality with a friendly, professional, and patient demeanor Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose issues, identify root causes, and find practical solutions independently or by coordinating with the right resources Strong communication and organizational skills; comfortable working across departments Basic troubleshooting knowledge for Microsoft 365 products. Experience with inventory tracking and vendor coordination preferred Ability to manage multiple priorities and act as a dependable point of contact in-office Schedule 4 days per week in-office; 1 day per week remote (work-from-home)
