Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced and proactive IT Cyber Security Analyst to join our team in this newly created role! This role, will play a critical part in protecting our organisation’s information systems and networks from cyber threats.
As a key member of the IT team, you will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents, as well as implementing and maintaining robust security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Reporting into the Chief Information Officer, this role is responsible for but not limited to:

  • Monitor and analyse network traffic for security incidents and potential threats
  • Investigate and respond to security breaches and incidents
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
  • Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols
  • Work with the CIO to develop and execute the security program leveraging JD Global Security Centre of Excellence
  • Develop and run security awareness programs for staff
  • Work with the Internal Risk to conduct audits and controls assessment aligned to internal and external audit requirements
  • Implement Security Policies as directed by the JD Sorts Global Security Team
  • Collaborate with IT, Technology Partners and other departments to ensure security best practices are followed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber security trends and threats
  • Provide training and support to staff on security awareness and best practices
