Configuration of our database servers and clusters for high availability and optimal performance.
System monitoring as well as creating backups.
Close collaboration within the team with the ORACLE DBAs.
Interdisciplinary collaboration with our software development team.
Your role in the team
You are responsible for our central MS-SQL database landscape and ensure it remains sustainably performant and secure, ideally with additional knowledge of other database technologies.
Your analyzes and evaluations can lead to optimization potentials from which you derive and implement measures for tuning, capacity planning, and scalability.
You implement and monitor database security, authorization, and hardening concepts, and support audit, compliance, and ISO-27001 requirements.
You advise IT teams and business units on database-related issues and contribute to future-proof architecture and platform decisions.
