SKILLS FOR IT AND DATABASE SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

· SQL Proficiency: Mastery of SQL is essential for tasks like data retrieval, updates, and schema creation.
· Database Design: Understanding normalization, relationships, and schema design is crucial.
· Programming Knowledge: Familiarity with languages like Python, Java, or C# enhances database integration.
· Problem-Solving: Ability to debug and optimize database performance.
· Communication: Explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders is vital.
· Access, SQL proficiency
· Triaging, managing and resolving service tickets
· Assisting with common problems (i.e. locked accounts, printers, connection, etc.)
· New hire setup- accounts, emails, phones, computers.
· Troubleshooting and determining the value of old equipment
· Sharing new ideas to increase productivity.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR DATABASE PROGRAMMER

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent combination of Information Technology related education and experience
· Degree in computer science or a related field is beneficial. Alternatively, certifications like Oracle SQL Associate or Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals can provide a strong foundation
· 5+ Years of experience in web application development

• Provide support to employees with hardware and software-related issues or problems as necessary
• Interacts with multiple field employees, answer their questions, and conduct all communication in a professional manner
• Create and run queries or programs to extract data in support of company analytics
• Creating and deploying databases to meet project needs
• Setting up, working with, and customizing servers/clouds
• Coordinating with existing Database and IT recourses to ensure proper system backups and documentation of networks
