Job Description The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to): Acting as the primary IT representative and strategic partner to the Professional Services divisions Developing and defining the IT strategy for assigned business divisions in partnership with the IT Director Creating and maintaining IT roadmaps, driving prioritisation and managing demand across multiple teams and vendors through matrix reporting structures Providing product stewardship for multiple digital products and solutions, including vision, strategy, and roadmap development Leading and managing IT projects from initiation through delivery, coordinating across organisational boundaries Working collaboratively with both internal and external Software Development Teams, reporting to and partnering with the Head of Software Development Managing the tripartite relationship between business product owners, IT, and external vendors Building strong relationships with divisional leadership and operational teams through partnership and influence Coordinating resource allocation and managing project budgets across multiple teams Acting as an escalation point for critical service issues and helping identify priorities during major incidents Qualifications To be a successful you should be able to demonstrate: Minimum 5 years' experience in IT business partnering, project management, business analysis, or similar roles Proven track record in project and programme governance with matrix management and cross-functional collaboration Experience managing relationships with third-party vendors and external development teams Strategic thinking and planning capabilities with strong business partnering skills Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with ability to influence without direct authority Problem-solving and analytical abilities Vendor and contract management expertise Financial acumen and budget control across multiple projects and products Leadership through influence rather than hierarchy Passion for driving operational improvements and efficiency gains Additional Information Why SOCOTEC? Responsibilities
The IT Delivery Partner acts as a strategic bridge between Professional Services divisions and the IT team to define IT strategy and roadmaps. They lead IT projects, manage vendor relationships, and coordinate resource allocation across multiple teams.
