We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, self-starter with a great attitude to join our IT team as a Desktop Support Specialist in our Munich office. The ideal candidate has a good blend of people skills and technical skills, completes tasks quickly and efficiently, and enjoys being part of a fun and skilled team that is committed to rapidly improving the IT environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite desktop support for the Munich office, remote support for the rest of EMEA, and occasional remote support for other regions where applicable.
- Image new and redeployed Mac and PC computers. Troubleshoot computer, AD, cloud, peripheral, VOIP, wireless, and network problems.
- Actively maintain communication, and coordinate activities with other employees and IT staff.
- Raise ideas toward improving existing processes and policies to provide better service, security, cost effectiveness, efficiency, and ease of use. Help to incorporate those processes and policies globally.
- Monitor critical events at headquarters during the GMT business day, and take action/escalate where required.
- Help to maintain a stock of spare equipment and accessories. Track assets, software licenses, and other assigned equipment.
