Overview IT Desktop Support Analyst | IT – Technical Customer Support | Durbin Keep teams connected and productive—delivering reliable, secure, and responsive IT support. 💻 Work Style: Onsite 📍 Location: Durbin, FL 🕒 FTE: Full-Time (1.0 FTE) Provides technical support to end-users by troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. Installs, configures, and maintains desktop computers, peripherals, and software applications while assisting users with technical questions and promoting IT best practices. Manages user accounts and access rights in accordance with organizational policies and security standards. Supports system security by monitoring and maintaining antivirus and endpoint protection tools. Documents support activities, collaborates with IT teams to resolve complex issues, and performs routine system maintenance to optimize desktop and system performance. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: • Provide technical support to end-users by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues to minimize downtime • Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, peripherals, and software applications • Assist users with technical issues and promote adherence to IT best practices • Manage user accounts and access permissions in accordance with organizational policies • Support system security by monitoring and maintaining antivirus and endpoint protection tools • Document support activities and collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex technical issues • Perform routine system maintenance to optimize desktop performance and reliability Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: • Minimum of one (1) year of experience providing technical support for desktop systems • Working knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting • Experience managing user accounts and access permissions • Ability to document support activities and collaborate effectively with IT teams • Familiarity with antivirus software, endpoint protection, and routine system maintenance Education: Required: High School Diploma or GED Preferred: Associate degree in Information Technology or a related field
