About the Role The Desktop/Production Support Technician is responsible for supporting the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to make sure we have minimal production downtime, in order to achieve maximal throughput. The role involves working with MES, ERP, SCADA, IoT, and computers to make sure all users can carry out their activities without any downtime. The ideal candidate will collaborate with IT, automation, and all other teams to ensure no interruption on the factory processes, to maximize company profit as much as possible. Key Responsibilities * Ensure & provide operational support to manufacturing production lines in rotating shifts for MES application and IT hardware to eliminate/reduce any production downtime.  * Responsible for working on projects to deploy MES applications to new production lines and test new functionality/features developed for MES.  * Be accountable for MES asset management & new asset Deployment tracking.  * Documentation to follow regularly with all necessary Process Change Notice/Deviation/approvals etc. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve product issues and improve testing processes. Qualifications  1. Education & Experience  * Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.  * 2+ years of experience in MES and industrial IT solutions.  2. Technical Skills  * Troubleshooting and installation of desktop/laptop, printer, and barcode scanner.  * Basic knowledge in MES software and production process flow.  * Basic knowledge in network troubleshooting. • Installing and troubleshooting windows client application.  * Basic knowledge in Active directory, DNS and DHCP.  * Coordinating and support with vendor for machine integration (camera/welding machine/etc.) for MES application.  * Troubleshooting in windows patch and antivirus update related issue.  3. Soft Skills  * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.  * Ability to work in cross-functional teams (IT, operations, quality, automation).  * Strong communication skills to explain data insights and solutions. Preferred Qualifications.  * Basic knowledge in MSSQL database.  * Experience / knowledge of integrating with PLC’s, SCADA etc. would be added advantage.  * Experience in machine automation using sensors, PLCs, etc. would be added advantage A Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm B Shift: 2:00Pm-10:30pm C Shift: 10:00Pm-6:30am
