THE IT DEVELOPER WILL: * Meet with business teams to determine project needs and requirements. * Analyze and interpret business requirements to design, develop, and implement software-based solutions. * Review, refactor, and maintain existing code to improve performance and maintainability. * Propose and implement database schema changes as required. * Develop applications using OpenEdge ABL, Telerik .NET controls, and/or C#. * Work within established project management processes while identifying opportunities for process improvement. * Create and maintain technical documentation for applications and systems. * Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects in a timely manner. * Stay current with advancements in programming tools, frameworks, and best practices. REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience. * 5–7 years of experience with OpenEdge ABL (OpenEdge 4GL), Telerik .NET controls, or C#. * Strong time and project management skills. * Proficiency with Unix/Linux operating systems. * Experience using and working with object-oriented programming structures. * Knowledge of XML and JSON data formats. * Ability to parse and manipulate data stored in various formats. * Knowledge of web services (REST) preferred. * Power BI experience a plus.
