About the Role
Are you an experienced IT Developer with a passion for building smart, reliable internal solutions? Join the IT team at Hain Celestial, and help drive digital innovation across a dynamic and fast-paced food manufacturing business.
As an IT Developer, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting robust software and database solutions tailored to the needs of our internal teams. This includes development using Microsoft programming languages, the full SQL Server stack (SSMS, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS), and business intelligence tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop internal software solutions in line with user specifications and company development standards.
• Design, test, and document applications before handing over for user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Build and support database and reporting tools using SQL technologies, ensuring robust, scalable performance.
• Provide technical support for internally developed solutions and ensure smooth business operations.
• Perform regular database administration tasks to optimise system performance and integrity.
• Collaborate across teams and occasionally travel to other Hain Daniels Group or third-party sites.

What You Will Need

• Education: Ideally a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a development role, working with SQL and Microsoft-based software solutions.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong SQL Server experience (SSMS, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
• Proficient in Microsoft programming languages
• Understanding of Business Intelligence reporting systems
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Methodical, detail-oriented, and able to translate user needs into clear technical solutions
• Strong problem-solving capabilities

Working Conditions

• Based at our Peterborough site
• Occasional travel to other group or third-party sites may be required
• Collaborative environment with peers including Business Systems Analysts
