REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience in IT development, with a strong focus on Oracle databases.
• Expert in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, and spatial query optimization.
• Hands-on experience working with ESRI database layers and ArcGIS technologies (ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Pro).
• Proficiency in ESRI web tools such as ArcGIS API for Python, JavaScript, HTML5, and REST APIs.
• Strong skills in C#/.NET development and web service architecture.
• Demonstrated experience with system integration and data exchange techniques (e.g., APIs, ETL, message queues, EDI).
• Ability to think analytically and apply mathematical models to technical problems.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with utility industry or infrastructure-related data systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms or containerized environments (e.g., AWS, Docker).
• Knowledge of agile development practices and DevOps tools is a plus.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Developer to join an Electronic Leak Survey (ELS) project team. This role is ideal for a motivated developer with strong Oracle database expertise and a solid background in system integration and spatial data technologies. You will play a key role in building efficient, scalable solutions that support critical leak detection initiatives for utility infrastructure. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and optimize Oracle database solutions including SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and packages.
• Manage and query large spatial datasets; optimize spatial queries to support geospatial analysis.
• Integrate ESRI technologies into our ELS platform, utilizing ArcGIS API for Python, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
• Develop and maintain web services using C#/.NET to support system integration and data flow.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various systems and ensure seamless data exchange.
• Implement data exchange workflows using APIs, ETL tools, message queues, and file-based transfers.
• Apply logical and mathematical models to address system integration challenges.
• Ensure data integrity, performance tuning, and system scalability in line with project requirements.
