We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated IT and DevOps Manager to lead our technology infrastructure and operations. This is a Full-Time, Fully Remote position. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, responsible for managing our IT systems and advancing our DevOps culture to ensure our services are secure, scalable, and highly available. You will play a critical role in shaping the technological direction of the company, supporting our mission to provide outstanding financial services. Role: IT and DevOps Manager Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Fully Remote Salary: $120,000 - $165,400 USD per annum Responsibilities Lead, manage, and mentor the IT and DevOps functions, driving technical and operational excellence. Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and deployment. Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of our cloud-based and on-premise infrastructure. Oversee all aspects of IT operations, including system administration, network management, and technical support. Collaborate closely with software development teams to streamline processes and improve the development lifecycle. Implement and manage comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system health and performance. Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations relevant to financial services. Manage vendor relationships, procurement, and the departmental budget effectively. Drive the adoption of DevOps best practices and a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation. Qualifications Essential: Proven experience in a senior role such as an IT Manager, DevOps Manager, or a similar position. Extensive hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Strong expertise in CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). Proficiency with containerisation and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Solid understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible. In-depth knowledge of networking, IT security principles, and system administration. Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex projects. Desirable: Previous experience working within the financial services, fintech, or mortgage industry. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CISSP, ITIL). Experience managing IT governance, risk, and compliance frameworks.
