ABOUT US:

God Restoring Order (GRO) Community is a mental healthcare provider that specializes in trauma recovery services for males of color ages 5 and up. GRO services are grounded in an understanding of the neurological, biological and psychological effects of trauma. GRO services include mental health and wellness, stress management, and community outreach.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The IT Director is responsible for overseeing the organization’s overall technology infrastructure and ensuring the secure and effective operation of all IT systems. This role includes managing the distribution and tracking of company technology equipment, participating in new hire orientations, and supporting strategic planning for IT initiatives. The IT Director will lead IT staff, if and when applicable, as well as manage vendor relationships, ensure data security, and collaborate cross-functionally to support organizational growth and efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT management or leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, network administration, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience in asset management and inventory tracking systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with onboarding practices and cross-departmental collaboration.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee and maintain all IT operations, including hardware, software, network systems, and security.
  • Manage the inventory, distribution, and tracking of all technology equipment, including laptops, phones, and related accessories.
  • Develop and maintain a system for asset tracking to ensure accountability and recovery of all distributed IT equipment.
  • Participate in new hire orientation sessions to provide onboarding support and ensure timely distribution and setup of IT equipment.
  • Supervise the IT team and external vendors; ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Oversee data security, disaster recovery plans, and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Manage IT budgets, purchasing, and resource planning.
  • Provide strategic input on technology planning, upgrades, and infrastructure development.
  • Collaborate with departments to support software implementation, training, and technology-related needs.
  • Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels and make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure.
  • Maintain documentation for systems, networks, and inventory management.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements as needed
