Description Summary: Haigh-Farr is a premier antenna design, manufacturing and test house developing products used across all platforms in the aerospace industry including missions to Mars, the International Space Station and products fielded to the U.S. Military supporting the warfighter. Haigh-Farr is seeking an Information Technology Documentation Specialist to create, manage and update technical documentation, including user guides, API documents, and system procedures, among other things, ensuring accuracy and accessibility. The successful candidate will liase between technical teams (developers and engineers) and users, often working with Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC) to maintain documentation, such as SDK guides and product manuals. Key skills include technical writing, content management, and proficiency in tools such as MadCap Flare, FrameMaker, or Confluence. In addition, development of documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements (i.e., CMMC, NISPOM, etc.) will be required. Requirements Responsibilities: Documentation Development: Creating clear user manuals, FAQs, API documentation, and troubleshooting guides. Content Management & Control: Maintaining revision control and managing documentation lifecycles. Process Documentation: Writing, updating, and organizing internal procedures, technical specification, and system architecture documents. Collaboration: Working with Developers, Engineers, Product Managers, and Quality Assurance Teams to ensure documentation is up-to-date with software releases. Tool Proficiency: Using documentation tools and racking tools. Other duties may be assigned. Knowledge and Skills: Ability to write clear, concise and accurate documentation. A strong understanding of the technical aspects of the product or system being documented in crucial. This includes knowledge of software, hardware and industry standards. Proficiency in document design and information architecture to ensure organized and logically structured complex information. Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
