QUALIFICATIONS

  • Microsoft and/or Cisco certifications (or demonstrated equivalent) and a degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in an IT support role utilizing technical skills, technologies, and systems used in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with MS Server software and hardware, implementation of data connectivity for local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN) and storage area networks (SAN), troubleshooting and resolving printer issues in addition to configuring and installing printers, and information technology infrastructure components.
  • Practical knowledge of IT networking concepts, asset management, software asset licensing and compliance and support agreement for IT related equipment.
  • Problem solving and investigative skills.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills.
  • You have a safety-oriented mindset with the desire to enforce and follow mill safety and environmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Perform and/or help support Tier 1 and 2 hardware break-fix services on PCs, Laptops, Network Printers, Servers etc. and IMAC (Installs, Moves, Adds, Changes) services, hardware rollouts, refreshes, and other hardware related activities on PCs, Laptops, Network Printers, Wireless Handhelds etc.
  • Perform and/or help support Tier 1 and 2 support services installing and troubleshooting hardware and software.
  • Lead and manage small local technology projects.
  • Coordinate and support activities assigned by the Service Desk, or other internal IT teams or projects.
  • Develop and maintain systems documentation including network diagrams.
  • Promote IT Cyber Security best practices daily via your actions and communication.
  • Integrating AI data analysis in a manufacturing environment.
  • Aid and assist other Business/IT teams as required.
  • Make recommendations for break-fix solutions and repair/rebuild systems to appropriate specifications.
  • Provide ongoing feedback/communication to the Operating Unit IT Lead and fellow team members.
