Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As an Endpoint Engineering Manager for TQL, you’ll be responsible for overseeing and executing the successful processes of all endpoint management systems. Leading a team of specialists, analysts, and architects, you’ll seek opportunities for continuous improvement, lead innovations for the team, and oversee solution creation when issues arise. Your leadership will empower our teams to surpass company goals, making a tangible impact on TQL’s success. You’ll engage directly with all levels of the organization, fostering collaboration and communication with customers and colleagues alike.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Demonstrate strong leadership by providing guidance and mentorship to all members of the Endpoint team
  • Support the development and improvements of endpoint technologies
  • Oversee software deployment efforts with various IT teams to ensure solutions are fully tested and successfully deployed
  • Lead and manage endpoint-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Drive technical leadership behind the building, testing, and documentation of all workstation and endpoint build standards
  • Take ownership of endpoint products, driving their development, implementation, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement innovative endpoint strategies to enhance user experience and productivity
  • Manage and support audio and video conferencing systems to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Cultivate a winning culture around project developments as a resource for the Endpoint Engineering team’s success
  • Ensure creation of design and deployment documentation for use by Endpoint Engineering, Service Desk, and Technical Services
  • Work closely with various stakeholders to understand their needs and tailor endpoint solutions accordingly.
  • Oversee and manage Microsoft licensing to ensure compliance and optimize licensing costs.
  • Monitor the performance of endpoint devices and systems, implementing improvements as necessary to maintain optimal functionality.
  • Measure compliance reporting to ensure the Endpoint Team is meeting all requirements within deadline to include but not limited to ensuring all workstations are patched/ updated within required timeframe.
  • Support the development of processes and procedures related to PC lifecycle management including procurement, break/fix support, disposal, and asset tracking
  • Maintain thorough documentation of all configuration reporting and system measurables
