You’ll take an active role in the planning, mobilization, and development of IT infrastructure onboard our vessels, ensuring systems are secure, efficient, and future-ready.
This is more than just a support role – you’ll be a trusted expert and advisor, working hands-on with state-of-the-art technologies and taking part in both operational execution and long-term innovation. You’ll be part of a tight-knit team, collaborating closely with Senior IT Engineers, vessel technicians, and project leads.
The position is part of the onshore team structure of Operational IT and you will be seated in our office at Killingøy.

Install and maintain IT systems onboard vessels, including network and firewall management
Ensure operational, secure, and safe IT systems (on-prem and cloud)
Provide 3rd-line support for vessel technicians and offshore operations
Participate in mobilization planning, execution, and on-job training
Travel offshore post-mobilization when needed
Contribute to improvements and development of offshore IT systems and procedures
